A: No! That's what is so wonderful about this machine! No permanent lines. You can take it with you anywhere as long as you have an AC plug. Just fill it with water - we recommend filtered water - and turn it on. Ice cubes in less than 10 minutes!
Q: Does this model reuse water from melted ice cubes?
A: Yes - if the ice cubes are not used in the basket, they will eventually melt and get recycled in order to form more ice cubes.
