Imagine Zelda: BOTW in a Greek Mythology setting!
|Posted .Owned for 2 months when reviewed.Even though Immortals: Fenyx Rising takes very clear inspirations from The Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild and Assassin's Creed: Odyssey it still manages to stand on its own merits and is thoroughly enjoyable. The dialogue between Zeus and Prometheus has me laughing most of the way through, but I feel like some of the less well-known aspects of the Greek pantheon would go over people's heads and cause them to miss several of the jokes. Combat is very enjoyable and I never felt like I wanted to avoid fighting one of the many monsters dotted around the map, even if it seemed like they would one-shot me. Exploration could have easily been a generic Ubisoft slog, but they managed to make that just as fun as the combat for me. Overall, Immortals is one of my favorite games this year and is easily the best Ubisoft game I have played in a long time.

Amazing game!
|Posted .Owned for 1 week when reviewed.Pros mentioned:Gameplay, GraphicsIf you liked Zelda breath of the wild BUY THIS GAME. Graphics are clean and crisp. Gameplay is great! Special moves can be a little tricky sometimes but once you get the hang of it your golden. I beat the main story mode in 25 hours of gameplay. That includes some side quest hidden treasure chests etc. the one flaw is when you finally beat typhon. It ends the same way Zelda did. Load the game from the boss or start over with everything you have earned. I wish you could just continuing playing with no more typhon in the game. Otherwise the game is perfect!

The God of War Clone we didn't know we wanted...
|Posted .Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.I would recommend this to a friendWanted something to break the Series X game drought so I grabbed this...this is the perfect clone of the God of War series back on PlayStation circa 2009, but with a Zelda make over. Like GOW in every way, you traverse the land, dealing with Greek themed obstacles...with a twist, where GOW killed everything/one in site, there are two main Greek God villains to combat here, and you must free the others...the story is "narrated by Prometheus and Zeus" and lets just say there are a number of what Leonidas, of the 300 fame, would classify as "Athenian" jokes/references...with Zeus fawning over other Greek gods. Still it's enjoyable with heavy puzzles if that's your thing. It does have a few nice touches that the GOW series would have welcomed.

Amazing open world adventure game for Xbox One
|Posted .Owned for 1 month when reviewed.I would recommend this to a friendGreat open world adventure game with an emphasis in Greek Mythology for the Xbox One with Series X enhancements. Gameplay is butter smooth with beautiful graphics on the series X. The game initially was called Gods and Monsters before the name changed to Immortals Fenyx Rising.

Zelda clone? I think not!!
|Posted .Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed.I would recommend this to a friendThe surprise hit of 2020 immortals is more than a breath of the wild clone. It stands on its own with a story rooted in mythology and told in a comedic manner. If this game was called Zelda everyone would praise it till kingdom come. Def get it, UBISOFT knows how to make open world games!

The Hidden Gem of Holiday 2020
|Posted .Owned for 1 week when reviewed.I would recommend this to a friendFor all of the hype that games like Cyberpunk, AC: Valhalla, Watch Dogs, and even Demon's Souls got, the best game of Fall 2020 for me was the horribly-named Immortals: Fenyx Rising. Though it often gets accused of being a little too Zelda-like, it's actually the most enjoyable open-world game I've played all year. Good for kids and adults in equal measure, the game is challenging without being too much so, expansive without the usual frustrations associated with open world games, and an absolute blast to play. I'd rate it 6 stars if I could.

Great adventure game for xbox
|Posted .Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.I would recommend this to a friendFun game. I'm only about 5 hours in. Feels just like Zelda breathe of the wild. If. You like that type of game you will like his one. I'm actually glad we have this type of game available on xbox. It's easy to play, controls are simple and easy to pick up. Commentary throughout the game is really fun so far.
