Q: QuestionIs an extended warranty available for insignia massage chairs(6 answers)
A: AnswerI see the official answer from Insignia is Yes but if you are reading this Insignia, did you actually check this EXACT item?? Because I've looked all over the Insignia support pages and MUCH more and I do NOT believe this is true. I called Insignia and they said NO (case number 299479243). For most other items including appliances you can buy an in-home service plan for extended warranty. But there is no option on the massage chair page during purchase for buying an extended warranty. I went into a Best Buy store during slow hours and a knowledgeable associate tried every trick he knew for an hour, and asked the store manager, but NO there is no way to purchase an extended warranty. Furthermore, I contacted extended warranty companies and None of them will sell one, most of them say you must purchase it through the store when you buy the chair. This included Guardian, Upsie, Guardsman. I'm still looking into Asurion, Allstate and Smart Guard, possibly buying it on Amazon. But it seems risky. I even tried calling Osaki / Titan as it looks like they might have made the product (similar to a Titan Pro Acro?), but they had no idea about this and couldn't offer coverage regardless. It's too bad because normally Osaki offers a really good 3 year warranty as standard, and inexpensive extended add-ons to make it 5 years. I would not buy this if it was not heavily discounted as it is at the present at least.Answered by snooker
Q: QuestionWhat is the minimum size door that this chair will fit thru.(2 answers)
A: AnswerThe width dimension seems accurate, it is well over 32" wide. See my other answers.Answered by snooker
Q: QuestionHow far away from the wall does it need to be when it's in the full zero gravity mode(4 answers)
A: AnswerThe back of the chair does not get any closer to the wall, you can literally line it up backwards onto the wall and it will reclineAnswered by BigDaddyBizzy
- A: AnswerThere is a program for stretch which I like. It uses air pressure to hold legs and moving body. I am learning as I go. I find stretch program refreshing for me but it wasn’t like I was expecting (on a table in a horror movie with arms chained and pulled)

- A: AnswerIt can get intense in the shoulders

Q: QuestionDoes it massage the arms?(5 answers)
A: AnswerThe chair offers air squeezing on the forearms and hands which is nice; but nothing for biceps. No kneeding or manipulation, just squeeze pressure.Answered by RegularFamilyGuy
Q: QuestionWhat is the difference between the 2D & 3D versions?(1 answer)
A: AnswerFor future reference, Best Buy has a feature that allows you to compare items. I did that in this case and it says that the 3D has 21 pre-set programs and the 2D has 6. Both are zero-gravity. 2D is smaller and it does not require assembly while the 3D does require some assembly. The 3D has a manual mode on the armrest. In order to make your own massage with the 2D you need to use the remote. We are very, very happy with our 3D, by the way.Answered by SAH28
Q: QuestionDoes it come with a warranty? If so what are the details?(1 answer)
A: AnswerThe owners manual says 1 year limited. That's the only downside to this unit, and there is no extended warranty available from BB. But the price right now is amazing.Answered by snooker

Delivery won't go through 30" door, you must DIY !
Can't beat the price and features, I'm waiting to see if the price goes back up from the killer $1600 Black Friday price to the full $4000. For the full price I would not buy this, due to the low 1 year warranty and no way to buy an extended one at BB for this item. If it truly is based on the (Osaki) Titan Pro Acro 3D, well the standard Osaki warranty is 3 years and extensions are reasonably priced by them. I'm not sure if BB is just risk averse or what, its a bit of a gamble for us customers on a complicated electro-mechanical device like this. Ok the width issue... Specs say the unboxed chair alone is 32.7" and I would say this is accurate. No way it will fit through standard 30" doors (or 29.5" with trim inside jamb). Even with the $99 Delivery and Insignia Assembly service (free when I bought the chair), the guys were helpful but said they were not allowed to disassemble the chair. So I spent a few hours doing it all and getting it inside myself. You basically have to take off the left and right lower sides, then the upper rear portion stays on and becomes right at 29" wide! The trick is to know that the horizontal silver plastic trim is hiding the bulk of the screws holding each side panel on. You carefully pop it off with plastic trim pry tools like on a modern car trim. It seems crazy to have to do it but I was expecting this. If you are handy it's not that bad just be careful, and don't blame me for issues, BB left us in a jam! Here's how: 1. Remove the REAR cover. 2. Disconnect the right side electrical connector and 2 air lines carefully. Repeat for left side (there is an extra electrical connector up high). 3. Remove horizontal silver plastic trim, roughly shoulder height, on L and R sides: Starting at rear, use a plastic automotive pry tool (or similar) and pry off the silver trim carefully. Pry at the front too, don't pull the rear out too far to not risk bending the tabs at the front end. 4. With the trim removed you will see a lot of phillips screws. Remove just the smaller ones around the edge and 2 in the middle. I think 8 total. Repeat for both L and R sides. 5. At the front of each side near the footrest remove the 2 big phillips screws. 6. Lift up the front of each side panel and then the rear simply drops down (it has a post secured in a slot). Just make sure you have the air and electronics disconnected in step 2 and nothing else should restrict it. Thats it. I hope this helps someone! See my pics. p.s. Osaki now has 29" wide massage chairs too!!

I LOVE THIS CHAIR!
I LOVE THIS CHAIR! The first thing to know is that the chair is heavy, and the width of the box it ships in is 35 inches wide. You WILL need to have the delivery guys take it out of its box outside and then bring it to where you need it. (Our delivery guys were ROCK STARS.) I’ve used this chair every day since it was delivered and still haven’t worked through all the features! It has several programmed types of massages and aspects of those programs can be customized; you can increase or decrease the intensity. The chair padding is comfortable. It uses air compartments to provide compression to your arms and legs but your neck, back, glutes and feet get roller action – the rollers can be very powerful so no worries there! The chair features a wired remote control to operate the unit but also has some additional controls on the right arm of the chair which was a good design and safety feature. The chair has Bluetooth speakers at the top left and right, which were easy to pair with my phone, and I thought they sounded great! Today, I just discovered the heat option, which is not adjustable but provides a lovely, gentle warming during a massage. The only aspect of the chair that could be a con is that the outside plastic shell of the chair is rather thin, so be careful when you are shoving/moving the chair as it will crack. The unit has rollers on the back side of the base, so you need to tilt the chair back to move it efficiently. The chair only has a 1 year warranty which I hope I don’t need to use and wish was longer or extendable since I really LOVE THIS CHAIR. I was very lucky to purchase this unit while it was on sale before Christmas. We drove to a location to see it, and it only took 5 seconds for me to decide it was perfect for me! If you have the chance to get it on sale, DO IT - IT IS WAY WORTH IT on sale; to invest any more the item really would need to have a longer warranty. I know most people would prefer to have a massage from a massage therapist, but this unit will get the job done by providing bodywork to relax muscles and promote blood flow. It was affordable, and I’m thoroughly enjoying it! Did I tell you that I LOVE THIS CHAIR? Thank you, BestBuy! <3
