5 stars for the price point

At this price, it’s an excellent headset. For me, it’s especially nice. It’s not the absolute best sound and mic quality, but it works. I’m a gamer with a newborn in the house. I have a professional mic and headset, but I can’t hear the baby cry at night while gaming, which ultimately leads to an angry wife getting woken up. With this, I have a free ear to listen to the house. I can quickly get that late night bottle ready. Happy wife, happy life right? The ear cup seems small, but has plenty of cushion, so it’s not uncomfortable. It actually feels nice, and I stopped noticing it’s there after a minute or two. The microphone is apparently of decent quality. My team let me know that I didn’t sound very different, I came in loud and clear, and the quality was more than acceptable. For 10 bucks, it keeps me gaming, with a free ear, so that my family isn’t ignored. Best purchase ever!

We were looking at wireless headsets online and the reviews of most wireless headsets were not inspiring, Many people reviewing them report problems with communication, or an expensive wireless headset dying after a couple of months. We went into the Best Buy store to pick up an internet order (on an item purchased from Best Buy cheaper than on that big website which starts with an A) and decided to look at the headsets in stock, not intending to buy anything, This wired headset was under $10 and we decided to try it. After using it with Dialpad in our office we were very impressed with the quality for the price, and bought 2 more. I definitely recommend this product, everyone should pick one up as a backup to a wired headset for the low price and good sound quality.

My only complaint is there is no mute button. Otherwise, I needed a dedicated headset for my mobile phone at home and in the car because I've been interviewing a lot over the phone. The Bluetooth in my car is great, and I pull over to take calls, but all Bluetooth devices have a slight, slight delay and it was noticeable on one of my last calls in the car. Plus, the caller asked if I was outside...ugh. Also, because I also use TalkTone, this works just as great on my Tablets. I still have and use my Bluetooths for music, movies, etc, but this, with it's volume control, can't be beat for basic phone calls. It's also easy to carry and throw in my pack (and cheap enough to actually buy another).

I only needed something to hear and speak through the computer without doing so through the mic on the actual body of the computer. This headset does that. People have told me it sounds much better than my sound did before, using just my iPhone headphones with the microphone. The earpiece isn't the highest quality, but it's not uncomfortable. It's not a USB headset and needs the separate jacks for the mic and the headphones and obviously, it's mono, not stereo, but I'm not quite sure it blends the audio into the one channel, which I'd expect and want if I'm using a mono headset. I've missed a few things that would seem to be in the "other channel" and I'm not sure if it's the headset or a problem with this particular one. I bought it because it was an "open box" deal and I had a gift card. I'm not upset with that purchase.

Work from home and needed a good headset for webx meetings through computer. Purchased this unit as a replacement to prior model I tried. Overall, love the ability to control the volume and mute the call on the cord. Volume quality is good as well. As well, there is padding on the top head piece, so the band is cushioned across the top of your head. The only complaint is the padding on ear piece. After a few hours, it gets a little uncomfortable. Feels as if it gets a little hot on the ears. This is in comparison to more expensive Beats, so unfair comparison on comfort. For the price, these are great for users needed then for work or extended time on calls.

I have the privilege of being able to work from home a few times a week. I bought 2 of these for my work and personal mobile phones for client calls, etc. I also use 1 for my Playstation controller handset. I love the fact that I can change the volume of the actual headset w/o having to adjust my phones' volumes, or computers', etc. I like that it's mono because I like to have an ear "free" to hear knocks on door, or my landline ringing. I've found that over the ear stereo headsets really block out ambient sound-which is great for music listening or movie watching, but doesn't work for phone calls. I don't have the mic very close to my mouth - my coworkers have mentioned that I sound loud! :) So I have the boom bent out, then the mic part bent in.

I had to replace my Pantronics headset in a hurry, so I didn't have time to research a replacement. I bought the cheapest similar set that I could find, so I was worried about the quality. This set is great! It has a comfortable ear piece, perfectly aligned head band and the sound quality is excellent. It does not have a mute button, but it dials down to no volume. It has a very long cord (6 feet) which is great if you're using it for your phone. There is also a little clip to attach the cord to your clothing. I'm really pleased with the purchase; good quality, great price -- just hope it lasts!

I needed my hands free while typing and talking on my work-issued Blackberry phone, and earbuds were uncomfortable. Enter this inexpensive option! My callers all said the sound quality was as good as a land-line handset, and the adjustable microphone boom allowed for perfect placement near my mouth, without the extraneous noises created when earbuds brush against clothing. I love this headset, but perhaps if I had to pick one complaint-- the volume (adjustable with an in-line rocker switch) could stand to be a touch louder. But this unit does the job as well as it's $45 counterparts.
