A: It will, but you will obviously need room to attach the "wand" to the IR sensor on your TV. The main IR receiver of this product has nice width and range and I happily endorse it with proper installation.

Q: Can I use my u-verse remote with this? Also can I turn on ONE device at a time or does it turn all 4 on at the same time?

A: The extender has only one receiver and transmits the signal from the remote you are pointing at it to all devices at the same time. This is not a problem because each device’s IR signals are proprietary. The Uverse remote should turn on only the DVR unless you have set up a macro that turns on multiple devices with a single button.
