The extender has only one receiver and transmits the signal from the remote you are pointing at it to all devices at the same time. This is not a problem because each device’s IR signals are proprietary. The Uverse remote should turn on only the DVR unless you have set up a macro that turns on multiple devices with a single button.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. One at a time.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You would turn on whatever you are trying to turn on. If you send a request to turn on all 4, all 4 come on. If you send a request to turn on the stereo, only the stereo comes on. It merely is a repeater. It just repeats whatever signal you send, inside the hidden area
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It is very simple. It just transmits whatever you point at it to all the outputs. But the outputs go directly over the IR reciever on your device and will not interfere with the others. Well, mine do not. I have them all stack on each other in a media box and they don't interfere with each other.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, this product works for my U-verse remote. If you currently have a remote that is programmed to turn on all four devices, and you have this device plugged into all four devices, then it should still work. If, however, you have multiple remotes that each turn on a single device, you will continue to need multiple remotes. The product is great, but it isn’t magic.
