Q: Can I connect this with my Sony LCD Digital Color TV?
A: Hi! Thanks for asking! As long as the Sony TV is capable of transmitting audio via Bluetooth (not all TVs or computers can do this) and you can choose the destination device (Sound Shine) from a menu, then the TV can connect with the Sound Shine. I hope this helps!
Q: Do they work with andriod phones
A: Yes- with the app from google [Philips hue app] . but you need a WiFi router & android version 4,0 or higher from what I have read. I hope this helps.
Q: How do you connect sound shine to google home??
A: undefined
Q: What happens when the light bulb goes out on it? Is the bulb replaceable?
A: Yes you can buy replacement bulbs. They come in either just white or color changing.
Q: Does this work with google home?
A: Hi! Happy to help. yes the Sound Shine can connect with virtually any Bluetooth transmitter.
Q: How long is the lifeline on the bulb?
A: Depends on your usage. But expect to get 2-3 years at least.
Q: If my light switch is already on a dimmer, is this device compatible?
A: The Philips hue light bulbs are not advertised to work with the old-skool light switch dimmers. I found this out the hard way when I was installing bulbs into a ceiling fan that had a remote controller for the fan and integrated light dimmer setting. The bulbs will freak out and flash like crazy. If the dimmer can be set to the maximum brightness setting and not moved to a dimmer setting it *might* work. But you're best off if you have a simple on/off switch that is flipped continuously on. If the light switch is accidentally flipped off, the bulbs will act like an old-fashioned bulb and will default to the brightest setting.
Q: Can the light be turned off while the speaker is on.
A: Yes it can.
