When it became difficult to find the Dell docking station model that I wanted for my Dell two-in-one Intel i7, I stumbled upon this gem on a shelf in BB. It didn't have every feature I was looking for when I decided on the Dell model, but at nearly half the price I figured I should give it a try. I wanted to connect two HP 27es monitors. Although it doesn't have multiple HDMI ports (only one) or a display port (none), it adds another serial video port. I run both of my monitors (one in HDMI, one in serial), PLUS a 1TB Passport for backups and a 4TB easystore for additional storage. I added a USB 3.0 hub for connection of my keyboard, wireless trackball, and external CD/DVD drive. Makes for an excellent temporary workstation when I am traveling on business.

We purchased the USB 3.0 Mini docking station for home use now that my wife is working from home. Set up time was rather quickly with little issues. We did download the drivers as recommended from their website instead of using the provided CD just to make sure we had the latest drivers. It took a restart to make sure all the new drivers took and then configured the monitors so that we could have extended monitors. I would of liked it even better if you were provided with two HDMI outputs instead of one HDMI and one VGA. You can see a slight difference in the video quality if you do side by side comparison but it is not enough to were it will annoying if you are not paying attention to it. For the cost, it is a very good buy.

Does not work with Mac OS 10.13.5

Buyer be ware this product does not work with Mac OS 10.13.5 j5 customer service has been poor in that for months they have promised a fix that would restore the compatibility. Multiple emails each time saying that the fix is two weeks away and they never have resolved the issue. Strongly recommend staying away from their products. If they would have just been direct and said that they could not or would not fix it I would appreciated it rather than being led on for weeks.

I walked in to Best Buy, unsure of what I needed to link two monitors to my PC, for work purposes. I was greeted by a young lady who seemed quite knowledgeable, not only about linking the monitors, but about the best equipment to use. After listening to my needs, she walked me over to the location of the equipment that I needed and explained the differences between the various options. She also explained how I should use the products (how to set up the connections). When I arrived home, it took me only minutes to hook all my equipment up and everything works perfectly.

I bought mine couple weeks ago, to use at home. Overall works pretty good to use the extra usb 3.0 ports and the ethernet cable. However the HDMI and the VGA ports don't work very well. I have only one monitor connected through the HDMI port and things are very laggy, faded out, and the movement is not smooth at all. Called the support people and they said the issue was laptop. I would given a 4 star, however, for the poor tech support and lack of information I will give 2.

Totally Plug and Play, no time to setup and works like a dream! It took me longer to find it and buy it online then to pick it up take it home plug it in and hang a 2nd Monitor (with USB Sound enabled, right thru the USB 2 HDMI Adapter) It's so delicious, I bought two now I am rocking two Dell Laptops with a total of 6 Screens (4 are 27 Inch FHD Dell Monitors and I did not have to buy the Dell Mega Business Port for three times the price and ultimately NOT compatible with the Dell (Non-Business) Laptops.

I purchased this product so I could "dock" my PC and hook up two HDMI capable monitors. Didn't work. Called their support group and was told that my PC had to have two HDMI graphics cards in order for this to work, because the docking station's software was not capable of duplicating a single HDMI instance. Kudos for telling the truth, sucks that this is not mentioned on the packaging. While shopping for this device I told the Best Buy sales guy what I wanted and he recommended this product. He needs to go back to car stereo sales...

I researched a lot online and visited BBY multiple times before deciding which product will be a good fit for my multiple monitor connection. Reason I had to do so much research is one of my monitor is 4 yrs old and doesn't come with updated USB/HDMI options. After using this product for 3 months now am fully satisfied with this product and always recommend to connect multiple monitors at your home office.
