After seeing the absolutely AMAZING movie, I decided to rent this game. I HIGHLY recommend that you see the movie before you play, otherwise the story will make no sense at all and you wont understand what is going on.
Anyway, this game is a precursor to the movie, so even though it wont ruin the movie story, it will do a poor job at presenting things that the Movie does very well.
The game has good graphics and the world feels believable, however there is a lack of incentive to accomplish the quests or do the objectives because they are boring, pointless, or just dont have a great effect on the outcome of the game. The controls are very clunky. By this I mean that switching between weapons is awkward during battle, and you often miss your target with your blades (playing as Avatars). It is not excessively challenging, however their are points where you get stuck because its not obvious where to go, or you have to walk thousands of miles just to talk to someone. (There are teleports and fast travel at most points, but not if you havent been there before).
Overall the game does a great job of recreating the world of Pandora, but you just dont feel any depth or connection to the plot like the movie does soooo well. If I were you, I would see the movie and then decide whether or not you were as amazed as I was. Then rent the game, and be patient as you traverse the levels and kill endless viperwolves. Although this game had great potential it just didnt produce.

This is a bad game, it is diffucilt not because it is hard but because it's control's are terible. When the game asks you to swhich sides an hour into the game, pick the native people, their wepons are less of a strugle to use.

I haven't even gotten all the way through the game because I don't really like it all that much. The graphics are good, but aside from that it's not that good of a game IMO. The only good thing about it is that it came as part of a TV bundle deal, so it was kind of like a free game. I wouldn't recommend buying this game.

this is easily the most frustrating game i have ever played. things dont work at all as they should. it litterally took me a half an hour to jump a couple feet onto a rock because it was not correctly proportioned. It all made me extremely angry

If all you wanted was to fly the red dragon, like myself, you'll be really upset. You only get to fly the red dragon for about 10 seconds and basically in a straight line. Then after the game finishes you don't have access to it. Major let down UBISOFT (maker of game).

This game pretty much sucked for the graphics anyways, and the storyline had nothing to do with the movie also there were no characters from the movie in it exept grace and she was just in it for a brief moment at the begining and never seen or herd of again, this game was mostly a prologe to the movie kinda. There was also vehicals that you never saw used in the movie witch i liked, and the game was kinda fun but i didn't the fact that you couldn't switch out from your Na'vi avatar to being a human because near the begining you have to choose to side with the na'vi or the humans either way if you choose to side with the humans your avatar gets killed and if you choose the na'vi, you as a human switches to your avatar at the na'vi tree or there link place to ewha and then you loose the ability to be or play as your human character witch sucks. But the multiplayer is the only thing that I like about the game I really didn't think that the game would of hade a mutiplayer feature.

I think this game is great. I haven't played it all the way through yet but so far I love it. I got stuck a couple times but still really enjoy the game. I would recommend it to anyone who liked the movie.
