Vista 2 vs vista 1
||Posted .Owned for 1 month when reviewed.Love Kay it’s and this is still a great product. Saying that, the noise cancellation and surround sense is not on par with most other bids. They come about the same price as vista original. Actually I think the original have better noise cancellation in relation to. At the moment they both are the same price. I enjoy the open ability that they hold to try surround sense. Vistas are still top of my choice and very little opposition in lieu of sweat proof.

Expected better from $200 ear buds
||Posted .Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.I haven't decided yet if I'll keep them. The only reason I would is the fit and how well they stay put. Cons: The Jaybird app doesn't let you change button settings for phone calls separate from music. Manual clearly states you can customize button for phone use but app only shows 1 set of options. Jabra definitely allows you to create phone settings as well as music and I attached screenshots. The phone call quality is lacking for a $200 pair of ear buds. I'm not talking about carrier quality. The calls always sound dull/lifeless if that makes sense. Maybe if they allowed separate EQ settings for phone calls, this would help. My iphone will show 3 separate bluetooth connections for the 1 pair of earbuds. I'm told this is because each earbud and caae have independent signals... but you don't accept 3 different bluetooth connections so why do 3 have to show up? Just confusing and I've never had a bluetooth product show multiple connections for 1 product. I'm losing ability to hear through 1 ear bud if I text someone. Not sure why. Charge light stops flashing when wireless charging on Apple Magsafe charger, which is compatible with Qi charging. It should either flash for charging or solid light for charged based on manual.

Charging case
||Posted .Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed.Overall the headphones themselves are good it's nice to have different settings for your EQ depending on if you're working out or just listening to music while you're at work. My issue is the charging cases seems to be very cheaply made, after being dropped on the carpet it just broke in half.

Rushed &/or unfinished product
||Posted .Owned for 1 week when reviewed.IEasy return on these. ISsue updating software. Issue with left earbud dropping connection, high wind noise & bad call quality, delay in connection when switching from youtube app to music app. Nice fit, buds stay put, sound is nice with nice bass and clear high & lows, light weight, good battery life. Soundcor or Jabra over these in this price range. Not recommended.

Maybe I got a bad egg
||Posted .Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.I have owned most Jaybirds headphones and only returned the original Runs and these. I do like the Vista 2’s but I couldn’t get them to charge wirelessly. I charge my iPhone and gaming headphones with no issues. I got them to charge via cable which worked but I wanted to charge them wirelessly. App DL’d and update done. Sound was great, not the new Sony’s level but plenty for working out. Button functionality was top notch. Also once I figured out how to turn off the noise canceling, all was well in the universe (and I don’t mean activating the passive noise, I mean turning off all mic assist). Lastly, these headphones disconnected while running almost every run. Not a hard fix but it takes me out of the run for but while I get the headphones working again (I workout 12-15 hours a week). I really think I got a bad egg and I’m willing to give them another shot but maybe in 6 months and a few updates. I’m testing the new Sony’s true wireless xm4’s for now and have been great.

Nice earbuds
|Posted .These are some really nice earbuds. I am a small woman and have small ears. I always have an issue with earbuds really hurting my ears, not fitting or falling out and generally being too big for my ears. These fit nicely and seem to stay in my ears well. I haven't used them at the gym yet so I'm not sure if they'll hold up to that. There are 3 sizes of earbuds adapters to allow you to choose the right fit. You want the fit to be snug to give you the best sound and fit but not so tight as they hurt your ears. Out of the box, I liked how small the charging case was compared to the pair I use currently. They have a matte finish and the outside where you press for the controls feels like speaker fabric. You can customize what the controls do for each earbuds, which is a super nice feature. As I opened the case, they immediately started the process to connect with my phone, which was right next to me. The process was easy, which is great because some things I've tried to Bluetooth to can be trying. The app is very intuitive. One thing that always drives me nuts with earbuds is that when I run, walk, chew, etc, the sound really amplifies into my ear. I don't want to hear myself, I want to hear my music. These earbuds have a setting called Surround Sense. It lets the ambient noise in. When I used this setting, I didn't hear myself but I could tell what was going on around me without it overpowering the audio. This is great for times when you are out in public. There is also a setting called Active Noise Canceling or ANC. This setting gives you the noise canceling that is so great when you just want to lose yourself in the audio. These earbuds have 8 preset sound settings. With these, the equalizer levels are preset to various preferred settings. You can adjust the different levels in those presets to fine tune them to what you like or you can create your own presets. This is a great feature because none of the presets were quite right for me but they were easily tweaked. These earbuds are rated IP68 waterproof rating but they aren't to use for swimming or bathing. I would recommend these earbuds. I'm not sure that they are worth the selling price but that is the going price for higher end earbuds.

Good not great
|Posted .My current set of earbuds is the jabra 75t. So my review will be a short comparison of the 2 because they also, are very close in price and features. Fit. The Vista 2 fit my ears better. I think the fins help this. When I'm at the gym, I will have to adjust my jabra's a few times, never had to do this with the Vista. Always stayed in place. Both where light and comfortable as well. The case on both are a good size, but the Vista 2's case was a tad smaller and the exterior felt better. The Jabra's case was thicker and smoother so you didn't always feel like you had a good grip on it. The Vista's case was easier and more comfortable in my jean pocket and my fanny pack. It had a better grip as well. Looks. They both come in different colors, but I don't care about those things. The jabra's are bit smaller and because of the shape looks better and less noticeable imo. The Vista 2 protrudes out more. Function. Both have pus button controls but the Vista 2 has a light double tap features which switches the anc and the hear through feature which was great. The Vista 2 buttons also was easier to push and felt a lot nicer. Both had similar controls except, with the vista 2, you have only an option of volume up/down as one of the controls or pulling up Google assistance. You can't do both. That was a real bummer. On the jabra you can have volume and google assistance. ANC. Both did a good job. Not Bose level, but enough, where I didn't have to turn the volume to max at the gym. Call sounds. The call sounds on both where good, but the jabra did a better job of canceling background noise. This was from the person on the other line. I had no issues speaking or hearing them on either set of earbuds. App. The Vista 2's app wins this easily. The app was easy to navigate and had many more features than the jabra's. The most important being the eq feature. The many presets available to the customization makes it just kills the jabra. Sound. Here is where the Vista loses me. The sounds on the vista is at best average. Nothing exciting. It just sounds average. The Jabra, with it's perfect, imo, bass levels and highs, was just so much better. When I'm working out, I listen to every genre of music, and certain songs has a point. A point that makes you feel alive. Be it when the bass hits on electronic dance or hip hop. Or the symbols on a classical song, a high note by an opera singer. It just makes you feel good. The Vista 2 never gave me this on any song. It never made my head bob up and down. LOL. So for me, I will continue to use my Jabra 75t. Although the Vista 2's did many things better, the sound quality was just not there. Especially at this level.

Great sounding ANC earbuds with OK microphone
|Posted .Tl;dr: Light weight, active noise cancellation, good sounding buds designed for use in all weather conditions. Strong competitor against Airpods matching Apple’s size with better sound, battery life, and build quality. Microphone for calls is OK, below expectations for a set with ANC. Full review: True Wireless earbuds are the essence of compromise. They have to be small, but sturdy. They must have long life, but decent sound. They must be easy to control, but fit in your pocket. They should block out external noise, but provide a good microphone for phone calls. Jaybird has managed to find the sweet spot for nearly all of these issues. Sound: The overall sound is very decent with only a slight bass emphasis. I have had several sets of earphone/earbuds in the past and the previous generation Vista have been my “go to” earphones in nearly all circumstances. Sound quality with the Vista 2’s is nearly indistinguishable from the Vista’s. These sound a little more detailed due to better sound isolation and active noise cancellation. Isolation: The earbuds provide excellent isolation from the outside world which increases the perceived bass and overall definition. In addition, the active noise cancellation works very well to reduce the noise of what’s going on around you. I was able to mow my lawn while listening to music at what otherwise would have been a very quiet level. While I still heard the mower slightly, it was not at all bothersome. It performs equally well at both low and high volumes. Since these are designed for fitness/workouts, you can be assured of setting aside the rest of the world when you set out on your own path. Active Noise Cancellation: The Vista 2s have added noise cancellation to the Vista’s design factor. This is very noticeable when it’s on or off. When off, Jaybird brings you the world as heard by the microphones sitting on your earbuds. You can easily hear what’s going on within 10 feet. Much less so anything beyond that. This way you can keep listening to music or a podcast while being aware of surroundings. With ANC on (just two taps), the world disappears and you can loose yourself in the music! Microphone/Calls: In a quiet place, the mic does an OK job of picking up your voice. While these are an improvement over the company’s previous Vista version, they don’t come close to what a true headset can deliver. Even in an office environment, callers occasionally asked me to repeat myself. They pick up some of the noise from the room while also passing along your voice. This should not be considered a headset replacement unless music is your main concern. Comfort: These are the most comfortable true wireless ear buds that I’ve worn. I used them comfortably all day long, blocking out the noise from my office with a bunch of sales folks. They come with 3 different sets of fit wings, though I only used the ‘Medium’ size. They never felt close coming out. When I did want to remove them, they came out quickly and easily. They easily snap into the case with a small magnet. Another magnet keeps the case closed. Battery Life: The case charges quickly from a USB-C output. The earbuds charge quickly as well. You can use either ear bud independently of the other for virtually continuous sound. In 3 hours with the buds on, they only drained to 60% (based on the app). On that basis, they should easily last for the 6 hours claimed on the box. Build/Water: The buds are incredibly light, as is the case. So much so that I often don’t notice when they’re in my pocket. They’re also barely noticeable in my ears. The control buttons on each ear are responsive with minimal pressure. There’s one button for bud which allows you to control them with light gloves on. Controls can be used for pause, skip track, and volume. These can be customized somewhat in the app.. They’re advertised as being waterproof, but after drowning my last pair of true wireless ear buds, I’m not tempting fate.

Q: Questionhows the bass ?
Asked by retsam.
- A:Answer Very good I’d say although downloading the JAYBIRD app and changing the settings is necessary to get a really good / solid bass sound. I will say of all the JAYBIRDS I’ve owned these are measurably better than the cheaper versions right out of the box . I never thought I’d pay this much for a pair of earbuds I confess they are worth it. Hope this helps.
