It works the first time I used it. The 2nd time, i saw smoke coming from the machine. I turned it off. The 3rd time until a month of using this machine, it works well now. I don't see any smoke or smell something burning from it. And I am happy. Hope this last for years.

It Stands Up to It's Reputation

However, my wife and I have been married 55 years and have never been without a KitchenAid Mixer. We've worn a couple out because I have made all our bread for the past 25 years. We had a couple of problems within the warranty period and KitchenAid has always responded positively. We expect our grandson's new wife will enjoy hers, just as both our daughters have liked the ones we purchase for them when they got married,

- A:Answer The spring and washer were deleted in order for the manufacturer to increase the profit made on each unit. The spring and washer reduced the play between the attachment and the output shaft.
