A: With this CELERON version i would say yes a college student could use it but i guess it depends on what they are majoring in..but it has the basic programs that most college kids use because it has all the windows. I got this one for my 7th grader but my college kid likes it too. I got this BECAUSE of the fact it was spill prooff and could be used with a pencil as a stylus but so far it hasnt worked. Not sure if only certain apps/programs allow it to work or if there is a certain setting that i have to set to make it work. Only had it out of the box a week so still learning it. Maybe its the aactual CHROMEBOOK version that it works on which is what i actually wanted
