A: it is a fully functioning Android tablet that can watch movies from a micro SD card (using an app like VLC), you can also download Netflix, hulu, youtubeTV, etc. the best feature of this tablet is the ability to use "Show Mode" (where the tablet becomes a 10" Alexa Show able to tell you weather, jokes, control smart home stuff, and "drop in" video or audio calls to other echo devices.) It automatically goes into "show mode" when placed in the included smart dock, but can also do that when undocked. I am quite pleased with this purchase.
