A: Yes, this monitor works with the Nvidia video card, but because the auto sync feature can not be used, there is a loss of functionality.

Q: Can you remove the attached mount and put your own in? Does it work with a traditional mount if so?
A: You can remove the attached mount. In fact, it comes unattached. The mount foundation on the rear is sized for standard mounts. I travel a lot, and every three weeks in my hotel, I disassemble the monitor and box it back up to store in my second car for a week back home. So, it is easy to remove (no tools necessary).
A: It has four inputs: One USBC One Displayport HDMI 1 and 2 I connected my 2014 MacBook Pro to the DisplayPort using an adaptor from my thunderbolt port, and it works fantastically. I was somewhat surprised that the 2014 computer could drive my internal retina display at max resolution and simultaneously support the UltraWide at full resolution. I don't play games on the system, so I'm not user how it would perform for high frame-rates, but for my kind of productivity work, it is just a great combination.
Q: Can you do a split screen into 3?
A: Screen Split 2.0 allows you to customize your monitor layout for multitasking with the latest version of LG Screen Split. Resize and display multiple windows at once, with 14 options including four different picture-in-picture (PIP) choices. Software download required to enable On Screen Control. Q: Can I use this monitor as a dual monitor: Have 2 screens and drag items from one to another.
A: I use this monitor to replace two 27 inch montors. You will need a mighty big space to have a 2nd monitor up, but if you have the capacity within your system for 2 then yes.
A: Yes. I’ve been very happy.
