A: Honestly, I don't feel they resolved the mold and mildew problem. I am constantly have wretched odors in my clothes and washer AFTER a wash has been completed. The washer is only five months old for me. I have now used five affresh drained the hose three times at the bottom of the washer cleaned the filter, I leave the door open after each wash, and I use HE laundry soap and make sure that there is not too much. My clothes continue to smell like mildew and just consistently get worse. Not to mention if I sweat just a little bit doing house chores or minimal yard work I smell like mildew . It's absolutely horrible. I have now had someone out to look at the washer since I have ran out of options. They said there is nothing they can do. So if you get this washer good luck.

It should be run with Tub Cleaner or lime scale remover which you can find at your local supermarket or home improvement stores.If using liquid chlorine bleach, the bleach should be added in the liquid bleach compartment. There are powdered cleaners and tablets available and if using powdered cleaner, you will need to pull out the liquid detergent cup and add the cleaner to the main wash detergent compartment. If using cleaning tablets, place them directly in the washer tub. Depending on how severe the mold and mildew is, you may need to run the tub clean cycle a few times.The door seals should be cleaned once a month to prevent the build-up of dirt in the door seal. Wear rubber gloves and protective goggles. Use a solution of a 3/4 cup (177 ml) of liquid chlorine bleach diluted in 1 gallon (3.8 L) of water and soak a sponge or soft cloth in it then use that to wipe all around the door seal.
