A: Hello there, Wall. Thank you for reaching out! We understand you're considering placing the LG LSEL6335FE Slide-In Electric Range closer to the wall and are wondering about the clearance requirements. For electric ranges like this one, it is essential to ensure proper ventilation and airflow to prevent overheating or potential hazards. Based on the installation instructions for the LSEL6335FE model, the recommended clearance from the wall or any cabinetry is typically 1 inch on the back and 1 inch on the sides. However, for the best performance and safety, we suggest allowing slightly more space if possible, especially for the electrical connections and to avoid obstructing airflow. As a potential troubleshooting step, please double-check the installation clearance in the user manual, as this will provide detailed specifications for your setup. https://www.lg.com/us/cooking-appliances/lg-lsel6335fe-slide-in-electric-range#pdp_specs We understand your situation and are here to help! A: As explained in the note (Hot Surface Indicator) on page 32 in your owner's manual for the LG 6.3 cu Ft. Smart Wi-Fi Enabled ProBake Convection® InstaView® Electric Slide-In Range with Air Fry, Model # LSEL6335FE under 'Using the Cooktop Elements' "The hot surface indicator light glows as long as any surface cooking area is too hot to touch. - It remains on after the element is turned off, and until the surface has cooled to approximately 150 ˚F."...^Ivan.
Q: Can you tell me about the oven light. Mine randomly turns on by itself.
A: There is nothing much to tell about the oven light in the LG 6.3 Cu. Ft. Smart Slide-In Electric True Convection Range with EasyClean® and Air Fry - PrintProof™ Stainless Steel, Model # LSEL6335FE other than what is described in the manual which states that the interior oven light automatically turns on when the door is opened, that you can press Light to manually turn the oven light on, and that it urns off automatically after 90 seconds. If it 'randomly turns on by itself' as you have mentioned, you either have a faulty door switch or the bulb is loose within its socket and will need to be screwed in securely...^Ivan.
Q: Hi, is the oven self cleaning or steam cleaning?
A: I believe itself cleaning
Q: Are the models available for purchase now fixed after the January recall?
A: I'm not sure what's the January recall was about to display mine should be recalled then
Q: Does this oven have a proofing drawer and if so, how does it work?
A: Hello there, Scott. Thank you for your inquiry about the LSEL6335FE Slide-In Electric Range. This model does not have a proofing drawer. Instead, it features a storage drawer at the bottom, which is designed to help you store kitchen necessities and keep your space organized. The storage drawer does not function as a proofing drawer, which is typically used for warming dough at a low temperature to help it rise. If you're specifically looking for an oven with a proofing function, you might want to explore other models that offer a dedicated proofing or warming drawer for dough. https://www.lg.com/us/cooking-appliances/lg-lsel6335fe-slide-in-electric-range#pdp_specs If you have any other questions or need assistance, feel free to send us a private message on Social Media @LGUSSupport, and we’re happy to help! —Renzo

We needed a new stove but didn't want anything so smart that we couldn't use it. I found this stove and it had the knobs and controls as another option to using the smart function. There is a bit of a learning curve using the top burners. Every knob does have hot/cooler numbers. You can tell which burner you're using by the diagram above each knob. I also love the convenient touch pad for the oven and the light. We used it all, including the air fryer. The blue color is amazing and often reflects the inside without turning on the light. I only have two issues. It is a bit difficult to keep clean and shiny on the top. Also, the oven vents from the back and I'm concerned about the decorative tiles in the back of the stove. I keep the vent turned on when using the stove. So far so good, though.

The stove is good, the only thing that I am unhappy about is the stove top. After each meal you need to clean the top with the Weiman glass cooktop cleaner. Wiping down with water and or soap does not clean it. There is always a white film until you use the cooktop cleaner.

The overall design is very impressive. We especially like the large oven box finished off in blue. The broiler is very capable in that it took only 4 minutes to toast our bagel while our old range took 7 minutes. The LG Electric Range was easy to wire up. The original hole in the bottom plate was too large to re-use my existing strain relief clamp and then I realized that the bottom plate thoughtfully came with 2 different sized holes. I flipped over the plate to use the smaller diameter hole which worked just right for us (Refer to photo).
