Nice Design. Very easy to set up.

Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5Was looking for a moderately priced receiver that had two subwoofer outputs. The Marantz NR1510 fit the bill. Setup was very easy. The cardboard tripod which was supplied to place the microphone in various positions for adjusting the surround sound left something to be desired as it was rather flimsy. A camera tripod provided more stability. So far I'm very happy with this purchase. Sounds great with my Bose speaker system.

Good product with flaws and support limitations

Quality3 out of 5Value3 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5Five star sound for a slim line. Great surround calibration system for the price. Packed with features. -1/2 star for display issues when switching between and Apple TV and Xfinity cable box both on HDMI. -1/2 star for support options (limited web support and 11am to 6pm EST Monday to Friday phone support). -1 star for flaky Bluetooth transmission to headphones. Works great for 3 to 5 minutes then a lot of static. Please update support options, mobile application and Bluetooth transmission to headphones. You have a great product otherwise.

Posted .Hello,
We appreciate your comments. Our Support team (phone or chat) is available M-F, 10 AM to 5 PM EST. Regarding the Bluetooth Transmit feature, please try forgetting the pair and pairing the headphones / speaker again. Then, see if you get the same result. I can tell you that the Bluetooth Transmit feature works much better when using a PCM based input signal as opposed to Dolby or DTS input signals.

Worked great... for a few months:(

Quality3 out of 5Value2 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5I bought this for my 4 speakers and 2 subs for a home theatre setup. It worked great for a few months! It’s very sleek, has all the ports you’d need, and looked good. However, while watching some tv one day, my front speakers started to crackle. The noise got worse over the next few minutes, making the voices from the tv unrecognizable. I swapped the front speakers into the rear speaker slot on the receiver and they worked just fine. I know my speakers are good, but this thing seems shot after only a few months. I hope the repair won’t cost me a fortune! I assumed paying a higher price for a quality receiver, but a quality receiver is something I didn’t get unfortunately.

Q: QuestionIf all I have is two Bose 301 speakers, can this be configured for 2.0 instead of the 5.0 surround sound system?
Asked by Donovan.
- A:Answer Yes it can. You can select what speakers are active in the setup section or simply run in stereo mode and all info will be directed to the front speakers.

Q: Questioncould you please let me know exactly what this piece of equipment does? I would also would like to view at least 50" T.V.'s
Asked by lindy.
- A:Answer Basically, a receiver is the term used to describe a stereo amplifier with a radio in it. With a 'surround sound' receiver, you plug in your TV (any size) and the sound comes out of your 5 speakers (two front, a center front, two back speakers and a subwoofer) for surround sound. You also run your DVD player and CD player through it to watch a movie or listen to music. The 'receiver' part means it has an AM/FM radio and "receives" radio signals. Read the description to see various other features.

Q: QuestionCan a old phonograph be plugged into this receiver?
Asked by Meg.
- A:Answer Most of our new models have a discrete Phono input to use with a turntable that doesn't have its own built in pre-amp or EQ. If not, you can use any analog input on the AVR along with an external Phono pre-amp in between the turntable and AVR.

Q: QuestionIs this receiver comparable with a Samsung ultra 4K curved TV? My current Denon avr-s710w keeps changing inputs on its own. It’s old...
Asked by David.
- A:Answer I'm pretty sure the question was meant to read, is this receiver "compatible" with a Samsung Ultra 4K TV. I have an older version of this Marantz receiver connected to my Samsung 65 inch HDTV which has works just fine. I would not expect most receivers to have that kind of problem connecting to most HDTV. You will be fine. Been happy with mine and going from having an old big honking workhorse Denon receiver, I've been so much happier with it occupying a much smaller footprint.
