Simple to use, worked flawlessly
I have a rather old XBox360 with a tiny 20GB hard drive and needed more space to keep pace with current game data requirements. After getting a much larger hard drive, I needed to move all of my precious existing game data, downloads, etc. from the old drive to the new. This device makes that happen and it's so simple I did not need the instructions. As soon as you connect the old drive to the XBox360 to the drive, everything is handled by menus on the 360.

Does what you need.
I bought this, transferred my old Xbox hard drive to my new Xbox in a few minutes, and returned this that very evening. There was nothing wrong with it. I just didn't need it anymore. Let's just say that I "rented" this. It was an open box buy so I'm assuming that someone else before me bought this and returned it like I did. In fact, I think I saw the very same cable the I returned a month ago hanging on a peg in the store yesterday. I would recommend this to a friend... the product and returning it when you're done. ;-)

Does what is supposed to do!
The data migration itself is very simple. First plug your new Xbox into your TV. Next remove your old hard drive. Then plug one end of the transfer cable into your new USB port and the other end into your old HDD. The screen will automatically prompt you to select what you want to transfer. Finally do not forget to research the Xbox webpage to do a license transfer of any purchased games thru Xbox Live.
