Awesome pen for the Surface 4
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought a Surface 4 and bought this pen to have an extra. It is exactly the same as the pen that comes with the Surface 4, and has all of the features supplied by the pen that comes with the Surface 4. It is also compatible with the Surface 3 (which I also have), but doesn't have all of the features on the Surface 3. I am not including all of the techie differences because you can read them on other reviews and also on the Microsoft web site. In my opinion, this pen has much more functionality than the pen that you can get for the Surface 3.

Really Nice to Use, Color Anodize Durability Issue
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The feel of the Surface Pen on the the glass touch screen is a revelation. I compared it right after getting it with a co-workers iPad Pro stylus. We both agreed that Apple's design choice was terrible when compared to the rubber-tipped, slight grippy feel of the Surface Pen. It doesn't feel like pen on paper, but it feels enough like actually writing that you don't care. This is, without question, the best digital writing experience I have personally had. My only really gripe, and to me it's pretty big, is how quickly the color comes off the outside. I bought the blue (silver was out of stock at the time) and really liked how it looked. In less that 2 weeks, it already had wear spots on the aluminum lower at the transition to the nub and the transition to the plastic tail portion from rubbing on the table when I would set the Surface down (magnet mounted) or from being in my TPU lined bag. Terrible durability of the color that has only gotten worse with time. I accepted it and moved on because of how nice it is to use, but don't get this if "ugly" things matter to you. Get the silver and the wear will probably be less noticeable.

Does what its supposed to do
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Was initially looking for nibs only, which I failed to see that it was an online product. I didn't want to order and wait so I decided to get a whole new pen because they came with different nibs that I was gonna order in the first place. Saw the gold one and instantly was digging it.

Q: QuestionWhat is the difference between this pen and the newer pens ?
Asked by Unicorn6499.
- A:Answer I believe this pen has 10,000 different pressure sensors in it, while the newer one has 40,000. I think it really only makes a difference if you are doing something artistic with it like shading.

Q: QuestionIs this pen compatible with the HP - ENVY 17.3" Touch-Screen Laptop - Intel Core i7 - 16GB Memory - 1TB Hard Drive - Natural Silver touch screen?
Asked by TOM.
- A:Answer Pretty sure it’s made for the Surface Pro 3,4 only. Though could be possible if you have a capacitive touch screen, but accuracy probably wouldn’t be that great or you’ll scratch the screen potentially- depending on how hard you are pressing with the fine point tips.
