Still not wireless, no rechargeable battery

So like a dummy I didn't do my proper research when buying this controller. I got it to go along with my new gaming pc, after struggling to use Switch Pro controller and PS4 Dualshock on pc for years I finally gave in and decided to purchase a Microsoft controller so I would have no more connectivity issues. I really could not believe my eyes when I realized the Xbox controller still is not rechargeable. I only ever had a 360, and didn't mind the batteries too much at the time, but in modern times, when Sony and Nintendo have rechargeable controllers, even Google Stadia had them, there's no excuse why Xbox should not have them available. They're too rich a company not to have it as an option. Especially at the price range of these dang controllers? $50+ for no rechargeable battery?! Does MS own shares in Duracell or Energizer or something? I really don't get it, but oh well, that's my fault, I guess, for assuming... Still, I decided to keep the controller because it IS really well designed. I particularly like the textured grip thing on the back of it, feels very nice, and the letter buttons feel great as well, I find myself running my fingers over them for fun, they have a really great texture. I kinda feel like the right analog stick feels kinda big? Like it's hard to manouver sometimes or something... It's a fantastic controller but the batteries only lasting like 4 days for me? Is a big letdown. Who has money to be spending on batteries like that constantly, especially when you game as much as me. I use it mostly wired now which I hate because I switched from Pro Controller and Dualshock because I had issues with them if they weren't wired, I thought Xbox would be a better choice but I still have the same problem of annoying wires. I still use it wirelessly sometimes when I get fed up. I have mixed feelings about it. Xbox really needs to start making sense one of these years. If you have problems setting it up with your windows pc like I did, you might need to update your wireless drivers, in my case Asus, and/or also update the controller by using the Xbox app on windows.

    Gold Shadow Special Edition

This specific controller is amazing, the colors are beautiful! With the black and gold combination, it has to be on of the coolest editions Microsoft has come out with. I love the blacked out buttons, and the golden d-pad. It also has rubber grips on the sides! This contoller is worth every bit of $70. Purchased the geek squad protection plan aswell. Very satisfied with BestBuy and this product!

Really cool looking up close and very comfy grip

I’m posting my review of both the headset and controller. These are the real deal! I hate buying collectible hardware that feels and looks cheaper than the standard/original, these are better. The material quality is great in each area. It’s cool that the headset makes games chime sounds . I was an IT for over 15 years, my partner and I are both avid gamers, and we were both smiling instantly when we held them, the feel and quality/detail is recognizable. The Headphones: Sound great, are soft, feel durable, the mic output has been clear, the ear pieces are very soft. There’sa fast forward and rewind option, they’re comfortable. These are not featherweight headsets by any stretch of the imagination, but, they aren’t the heaviest I’ve had. Heaviness or lightness obviously differ based on person, I have a nerve condition and am like 115 on a good day so, maybe to others this is light. Partner seems mostly indifferent to the weight. Controller: I love the clear buttons detail and the grip, feels sturdy but time will tell. I love the metal areas and the markings/characters that make it clear that care was put into these. Both look amazing up close and deliver what was stated at announcement for their release.
