A: If your ceiling speakers can be powered by standard RCA cables, they will be able to be connected to the subwoofer.
A: The subwoofer is wireless and the rear speakers plug into the subwoofer with the included RCA plugs and wire. The firmware comes out next week making it Dolby Atmos capable.
A: sadly, you cannot add a second subwoofer to the 7.1. you need to get the 7.2 model instead.
A: It's the 2019 version, I know this because I received the firmware update that made it ATMOS ready! Sounds awesome!
A: Did you ever figure it out? I was able to “teach” one volume button (up) but not the second one (down). Need the code as well to fully integrate the controls.
A: You buy the soundbar system, the directions tell you step by step what brand and size of USB to use to download the firmware update, then you unzip it, and install it into the back of the soundbar itself. It is very specific about brand, size and it must be USB 2. I don't remember the details, but it tells you specifically on their website.
