Q: Does this work without wifi at home and if so wil I be able to see on my smart phone
A: Remote viewing means that you can view your Night Owl device from the convenience of a Smart Device (Smartphone or Tablet) or Computer (PC or Mac). To remotely view your product, you will need to have your Night Owl device connected to the Internet. If you do not have Internet capability or do not wish to remotely view your system, you can locally view it on a TV or monitor. Most Night Owl devices can be connected to you TV or monitor using an HDMI cable. Keep in mind, most of our products require your TV or monitor to be a minimum of 1080p resolution to function. Q: Can I connect them to my phone while not being in home??
A: These cameras need to be connected to a compatible DVR. If the DVR is connected to your Internet and you download our Free App, then yes, you can absolutely view the system on your phone or tablet when not at home! Thank you for choosing Night Owl!

A: Unfortunately, Night Owl is not able to guarantee compatibility with any 3rd party brands. Often, cameras of the same technology will function with our systems, but we make no assurances. We can only ensure that our products will function with compatible Night Owl product. We apologize for any inconvenience.
Q: I have a Google Hub. Can I sync and view the cameras from my Google Hub?
A: These cameras will need to be added to a compatible Night Owl DVR, for use. They cannot be added to the Google Hub, as they are not standalone cameras. They have to be wired to a compatible DVR using BNC coaxial cabling. Thank you!
Q: Looking for a sit that’s got good vision that is battery or WFI no wires the best you can buy
A: These are wired cameras that must be connected to a compatible Night Owl DVR. Not what you are looking for. Night Owl does not have any battery powered camera systems.
