Q: I'd like to know if they're good for astronomy, and to observe stars and nebulae and planets
A: Yes, they are rated very good for watching stars the nebula it brought it out when I was looking at it very nicely. The 12/50 binocular from NikonAculon Brings out the stars much better than the 10/50 that I was using I am very pleased with this vernacular

Nice for stargazing.
These are great binoculars for stargazing. On a dark night, even in the city where I live where dark is not exactly "dark", I have seen the largest moons of Jupiter, as well as the Andromeda galaxy. The Orion nebula, visible to the naked eye, looks great in these binoculars. If I'm too lazy to get out the telescope, these binocs are my go-to for looking up at the night sky.
