Nokia - 6 4G LTE with 32GB Memory Cell Phone (Unlocked) - Matte Black

I got the Nokia 6 a few weeks ago. Even though it only has a Snapdragon 430 CPU, this smartphone does different task at a decent speed. This smartphone has a 1080p display resolution. This smartphone has Dolby Surround Sound settings in the Settings app. Use the Theatre setting to get the best sound. I can hear video and notification sounds even in the noisy warehouse that I work in. The camera takes decent photos on the front and back cameras, but nothing ground breaking. The Nokia 6 has a on screen screenshot button on the pull down menu on the top so you don't have to hit multiple keys or do weird geatures to take a screenshot. The fingerprint scanner is kind of small, but for the most part is fairly accurate. It wasn't the easiest to setup for fingerprints. This does have NFC, so you can use Android Pay on the Nokia 6. HMD Global, the company that currently owns the Nokia name, promised 2 years of software support. In the short time I have owned this smartphone, have received 3 security updates and one Android system update. The Nokia 6 ships with Android 7.1.1 and mine is now 7.1.2.. It seems like HMD Global might very well keep it's software support promise. The battery life on this 3000 mAh battery actually is pretty good. Get to about 6 to 7 hours of screen on time. You can use the internet and make phone calls at the same time. The Nokia 6 works great with my Cricket Wireless nano SIM. Unfortunately for some, this is a GSM only unlocked smartphone, which means At&t, T-MOBILE and third party carriers that use those networks are fine, but CDMA carriers like Verizon and Sprint won't work. I would recommend the Nokia 6 to someone looking for a good GSM unlocked smartphone with a fingerprint scanner and NFC for Android Pay that wants to stay in a budget.

I got the Nokia 6 November 5th, so I had over a week to play with it. I've received 2 security updates, and an upgrade to Android 7.1.2.. Nokia stated that they are committed to software support for this smartphone for 2 years with an Oreo update slated for the end of this year. The volume is good on here with stereo speakers, but can get even better if you select theater mode in Dolby Atmos in settings. Calls and video are loud and clear even at the highest volume level. The NFC chip works on the Nokia 6 for Android Pay after you enable all permissions for the Android Pay app. The fingerprint scanner wasn't that easy to set up compared too other smartphones that I have used. While the fingerprint scanner is small, it performs quite well. The Snapdragon 430 processor has performed quite well even though it's an older 400 series processor. It's not the fastest, but still handles basic task just fine. The camera takes nice pictures in decent lighting, but just ok at best in low light surroundings. The battery life on this smartphone is pretty good. I can get about 6 to 7 hours screen on time. Overall, this is a pretty good smartphone for the price. I would recommend this to someone on a budget and wants good software support.

Had the phone for three months now. Received Android Oreo 8.0 update a couple of nights ago. Battery life has definitely increased since the last update. Fifteen hours since my last charge. The battery is still at 40% with heavy usage at work. Never had an android phone last this long without a charge with my typical usage. Bluetooth is usually on all day paired to a smartwatch. The phone has WiFi calling and Android Pay. Can't see myself wasting money on a flagship phone again. If you plan on playing games, you might want a phone with a faster processor. You get a lot for your money with this one.

For the price tag I got lot of phone, I love the experience of pure stock android and how quick the phone is, it can get sluggish sometimes but overall it's a quick phone. The display is great and the 3 GB of Ram is a plus, battery life surprised me and it lasts almost twice longer than my Galaxy S7 using the same apps. Only down side of the phone is the camera indoors or low light is disappointing and I hope Nokia will consider enhancing it in future devices as well as the speakers and call quality is really bad.

You can sense quality since unpacking this phone. Very intuitive and high quality components. I like the screen very much and the W vs L ratio. fits very well in your hand. make sure you get a protective case not only for any accidental drop but to increase friction with your hand. Great purchase and love the NOKIA branding. I am not the typical Samsung or I-phone follower. always looking for outsiders

I bought this phone not knowing anything about it and either did the best buy employees I spoke with. However I am very very pleased with my purchase and how great this phone really is. Awesome pictures, long battery life great price and is super fast

I have a Nokia cell phone since 2012 and just updated a few months ago to a new Nokia-6 4G. I am in love with it and I do not will change it for any other cell, including the new iPhones. Nokia is for me the best cell phone ever. Just forgot my Nokia in the car, have no pics.
