A: The technology makes the handle flash red; it does not stop the motion.
A: my Oral B 1000 has a white flashing light while charging, but after it's fully charged the light will go out. Hope this helps.
Q: Can you use the regular brush heads on this model if I don't want to buy the cross action heads?
A: Yes, I believe the brush head that you may be inquiring about is the Precision Cleaning Head? There are approximately 9 different cleaning heads available for the Oral B Pro 1000. Q: Can the 30 second pause be turned off?
A: Those vibrations are to let you know when to change quadrants. 30 seconds per side. Top right, bottom right, top left, bottom left. Irs essentially a timer. To my knowledge you can't turn it off but why would you?
A: I did the same thing and found the charger on Amazon for like $10. The charger you need for the Oral-B Pro 1000 is Oral-B Charger 3757. They use that same charger for a lot of the new rechargeable brushes. Now if you don’t have Amazon or need it right away instead of waiting for it to be delivered, you can go to somewhere like Walmart and buy the “Kid’s Oral-B Rechargeable Toothbrush.” I posted a picture of what the Kid’s Brush box will look like. This brush also comes with the exact charger (3757) that the Pro 1000 uses. This Kid’s Rechargeable Brush runs for $20 and you can use it as a backup or whatever just to get the charger out of it today!
Q: How does timer function? Does it turn off after 2 minutes?
A: No, the brush does not turn off after 2 minutes. The extra pulse you feel let's you know that you have reached your 2 minutes. Then you can continue or turn off the brush.
Q: Does it come with a case for traveling?
A: No it does not.
