The ones I received look like they may be used. Packaging is completely torn apart. I will be returning these, not because of the product, but the condition I received them.

After the quick 2 minute set-up with my Google Assistant, they were up and running! I love the fact that I’m able to adjust the percentage of light for them to set the mood in the family room, especially when it comes to movie night or when company is over. A definitely must-buy!

The Hue Bridge is located in my home that is over one hundred yards away. I synced the bulbs with the bridge in a light that was next to the bridge and then relocated them to the building. I then setup the lights to come on automatically whenever I come home at night. They work perfectly. It’s very comforting to know that I can control lighting in various sections of my land without having to be physically present to flip the light switch. I now have 30 bulbs connected to the bridge and will probably add more as the need arises.

Great Bulbs for my Smart Home!

I went looking for candlelight bulbs for my living room and master bedroom and these were exactly what I needed. I am creating a smart home and worried I wouldn't be able to use these two fan lights but located these at Best Buy and they work perfectly!

Awesome for my chandelier..

I then set it up through my Alexa app to turn on at a certain time and on command. They work perfectly. At times one of them will unsync with the others and I simply delete it and enter the manual serial number located on the bulb itself onto the Alexa app. Then it is automatically synced with the others. Great product love love love!

Q: QuestionI have a living room chandelier with 5 bulbs. Are these bright enough to use for a main light fixture? What's the difference between the bulbs in this 2-pack and the bulb that is sold stand-alone for $24.99?

- A:Answer Depending on room size. They are brighter then a standard e12 incandescent if that’s what was in there before. 5 of them would be decent.

Q: QuestionIf I'm not using a hue bridge, what is the maximum amount of these light bulbs I can control via Bluetooth? The product description says maximum of 50 if I use the bridge.

- A:Answer As far as i know, you can only control the bulbs when the bridge is connected. If no bridge is connected your light switches will control the bulbs like a standard bulb would. Without the bridge your hue bulbs will be just bulbs.

Q: QuestionThe description doesn't say what it does. OK, it can be controlled through Bluetooth or with the Hue bridge. But control what? On and off? Dimming? With lower color temperature? RGB? Hey Best Buy and Philips, put some info in your marketing!

- A:Answer It does on, off, and dimming. If you want color you have to buy the Hue Color ones ($50 each), and color temperature is in the Ambiance bulbs ($25). These are the $15 bulbs that just do white light.

- A:Answer yes depending on your wattage and lumens needs. the "look" is supposed to mimic that of an outdoor style "flame" in your typical outdoor fixture.

- A:Answer Yes they can work on a schedule via an app, but there is no mechanism to have them function with motion unless you purchase the item called Philips Hue Motion Detector and have it paired with these lights through the app.

Q: QuestionI have other Phillips Hue lights and love them. These lights are dimmable, I get that part. But can they be used as lights that are wired to a dimmer switch? Others are not compatible with the dimmer switch itself.

- A:Answer No, All Smart Bulbs need a constant source of power. You dim them through their app or by voice command with one of the smart home devices like Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa. Not a dimmer switch on the wall.
