Performed as expected- Very Satisfied
||Posted .Using a Free version of Macrium-Reflect backup software, it was very easy to clone my current hard-drive and replace it with the PNY SSD. The installation took about 15 mins. I not only would "recommend it to a friend"; I did.

Great but not for me
||Posted .Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. It works great, but it did not work with the device I needed it to work on. The purpose of this purchase was to get my old PS2 to play my backup games and it didn’t work. It worked fine on the computer

Fast and cheaper then the others.
||Posted .Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. It’s fast and works great for less then the other brands of SSD’s. I used this in my Xbox One X and it’s made a huge difference. Snappy and quick! Just what you want.

1TB SSD is good enough!
||Posted .Owned for 1 month when reviewed.Basic SSD. Fast enough for cloning my main drive. I didn't realize it was a bare drive but I had a spare external case so not a big deal.

Q: QuestionI need to install a new solid state hard drive in my Dell Inspiron 15 laptop computer. Would this PNY- 1 TB internal SATA Solid State Drive for Laptops work for my laptop? Thanks!
Asked by liznic.
- A:Answer Any SSD with the 2.5" configuration will work on your laptop if it comes with a 2.5" drive from the factory. It is just a matter of swapping it out. You don't say what your s/n is and that's ok. Just go to support.dell.com and put in your express service code or serial number to get your original configuration information and see if you have a 2.5" drive. Further, remember with an SSD, defragmentation is a bad idea as it causes wear on the drive and an old OS like XP or Vista will not support the cleanup commands available from Windows 10. Good luck!

Q: QuestionIs there a link that provides all the systems this SSD is compatible with?
Asked by keichantac.
- A:Answer That list would be too large to publish. These drives will fit into 99.999% of modern computers. The exception would be the new laptops that use the new M.2 NVMe Interface.

Q: Questionis this good for gaming? i currently have a acer nitro 5 515-53 and added 1 8gb ram to the empty slot but plan on doing 2x16 gb but i have seen ones that are beter on price i just dont really understand the whole GB MB per second. please helaaap
Asked by tyler.
- A:Answer Using an SSD in a game machine is optimal, then a standard HDD to store your games. That's the configuration that I run in my gamers. If you're using a laptop, get a USB Hard Drive Dock and a 3 or 4 TB standard HDD to store your games on. Again, that is the configuration I use on my gaming Laptop. MB (Megabyte) and GB (Gigabyte), Mb (Megabit) and Gb (Gigabit) (A Gigabyte is 1024 Megabits, the numbers before each of these designations is the speed, or transfer rate, of the device.
