Q: Is this able to charge the joy con controllers?
A: No it can't.
Q: Is this bigger than the grip that comes with the switch?
A: No. It's the same size.
Q: does this do the same thing as a pro controller?
A: Does all except read amiibo and has no rumble.
A: There is no usb port as you cannot charge your joycons when they are on this holder / grip. You will have to plug them in to a separate charger or put them back on the switch.
