Quality4 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5After seeing the bikes and how much a friend paid I decided to try out the ProForm. It is awesome. I find I use the outdoor rides and workouts much more than the studio. It is smooth, it is quiet, and has push button resistance. A bigger screen would be nice but works just fine. The trainers are fun and engaging. It makes the workout go by so fast.

Quality5 out of 5Value4 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5Pros mentioned:Set upCons mentioned:FeaturesLet me start off by saying while the bike is lacking in features, you will not find a bike with a cadence/rpm display and electronic magnetic resistance at this price point. If you are looking for a bike to use with another app and want a simple solution this bike will fit the bill. I weigh 250 lbs and am 6’1” tall and this bike was stable for me despite what I’ve read elsewhere. I wish the handlebar would come up one more notch, but my posture seems to be what most have in spin classes. This bike seems to lacking in basic features, I assume this is to keep the more expensive Nordic-Trak/Tour De France in line with the price point. Biggest missing “feature” is no Bluetooth audio. You must use headphones with a 3.5 jack which isn’t very comfortable while on the bike, let alone when you have iFit workouts where you get off the bike and do floor exercises. There is also no power switch, the manual states to unplug the unit when not in use, I ended up buying a cheap power strip to act as a switch instead of wearing out the plug on the wall or the back of the bike. Also there are no stops on the height adjustments, the first time I went to adjust the handlebars I pulled it clean out of the frame. No damage was done but it was unexpected. There is no ledge to set anything on either, I hope this is just a design choice/oversight and not a way to try to keep you locked into the iFit service. I have two large issues with the bike. First the cords in the back of the display are terrible, they look like S-Video plugs and there are no markings to assist with lining them up which made this step of the assembly the longest. They also do not “click” or secure once plugged in. I found this out when I turned the monitor to do a floor workout and one of them came unplugged powering the unit off. Second as much as iFit touts itself as alternative to Echelon/Peleton, I don’t think it is. When looking into which bike to purchase I wanted to compare the classes that all three offer, but all three keep their actual class structure and offerings obfuscated until you join. If iFit has live streaming classes at any point I have yet to find them, despite them advertising so. I assume they add new rides/classes but again I couldn’t tell you how many are added each month, if any. This is fine for my free 1-yr trial, but it is not worth the same monthly price as the Peleton app which has scheduled live streams and a library that grows daily. One thing that Proform/iFit did do right is there are a handful of workouts built into the bike, which Peleton does not offer from what I understand. The Best Buy guys who did my delivery were on time and courteous, other than the issue with the display noted above assembly was easy.

Quality4 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use4 out of 5The website clearly advertises a 1 year free membership to iFit coach. When it arrived, it was only a 6 month subscription card. I talked to Best Buy and they refused to do anything to make this right, even though they clearly falsely advertised on their website. As far as I'm concerned they're thieves. DO NOT BUY IF YOU'RE EXPECTING 1 YEAR OF IFIT COACH!!! The bike itself seems great so far. Very quiet and I like the resistance adjustments.

Quality1 out of 5Value1 out of 5Ease of Use1 out of 5Purchased this two weeks ago because it was on sale and I was really excited about using it initially for iFit but then also for Peloton. I had been spinning for several users and recently was looking to get back into it. Below are details on my experience that I think are important to share. I also recommend searching other sites for reviews before purchasing. The bike was delivered and upon unboxing and putting the bike together, I was really impressed how nice the bike looked and felt in terms of quality. The bike was very easy to put together and other than one confusing part with the directions, I had no trouble. Unfortunately, as soon as the bike was put together and I tried to use the screen and computer system, it all feel apart. First off, there is no power on/off button so in order to turn it on or off, you have to unplug it. More of an annoyance than anything else. The other key note is that in order to use the bike, you have to have it plugged into power. Otherwise you will not be able to change the resistance which is controlled via the computer touch screen. This second point is only a concern because it means that you are reliant on the computer working in order to use the bike. Once the computer dies, the bike is essentially worthless. This leads to the biggest issue... When I first turned on the bike I did the necessary software update and then signed up for my iFit trial on the bike. I then climbed on and started my first ride. About 10 minutes into the ride, the video stopped and I received an error message. Thought it was odd so tried again. Same thing after a couple minutes. I gave up for the day and tried again the next day. This time when I turned on the bike (plugged it in), the system hung while loading. I turned it off and back on. This time it loaded so I tried again to ride. The system crashed again. Tried one more time and same thing. I was never able to get in a full ride without the system crashing. I should also mention that the bike is in the basement directly below my router so it is not an internet issue. I could have reached out to the company to see about fixing it but the experience was so immediately poor, that I decided I didn't want to risk being stuck with a poor quality bike and dealing with custome service and decided to return it. One other thing to mention, while riding the bike did have a pinging sound from the wheel. It sounded like something wasn't quite right with it. Didn't seem to impact the ride but was just another quality concern. Overall this bike looks great and in theory the iFit classes are really cool but if you can't trust the computer then this is pretty worthless.

Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5Pros mentioned:Set upI really am happy with this bike. Great quality, quiet, and easy to assemble. Great value with 1 yr free of ifit, and considerably better than the pelaton bike, price, and membership. Love the outdoor rides. The digital resistance and trainer led resistance is amazing. Just wish there was a easy/average/difficult setting for that functionality.
