Easy to fly, decent picture
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this for my 11 year old for his birthday; reasonably priced. Very easy to fly; it has a take off and landing button that makes getting started easy. The battery life is typical of drones; short. Easy setup. Took me a bit to figure out that my cellphone needed to connect to its Wifi signal, but easy at that point. The camera quality is decent, not high quality but clear enough for a starter drone. Its reasonably sturdy too; we've had some hard landings and its fine. And my son is also making sure I add that I accidentally landed it into our pond, where it sunk down to about 3 feet. The lights stayed on the whole time, making it easy to grab...and it still flies perfectly fine.

Pretty darn great!!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is an awesome drone for the price, I bought it for my son and he is eleven. He is now using it like a pro, for the price this is an awesome introduction into the drone game. If he crashes it it is easily repaired and even comes with some extra blades. But so far it has hit a tree, been in the deep woods, smashed into walls and even been stepped on and it works like new. The biggest gripe would be the flight time, after an hours charge time you only get 7 minutes of flight. But I guess this is pretty average. Overall I would recomend for beginners or people who are interested and dont want to risk breaking a serious drone.

Great fun for new flyers
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this for my dad for Christmas and he absolutely loves it. Quadcopters are generally the easiest helicopter to fly and he got the hang of it real quick. One downside is the battery dies in 5 min and takes nearly an hour to charge. But for the price, it is a fairly well built product with the option to buy more parts for it.

Drone on
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Nice little unit for indoor flying. I tried it outside and it just got swept away by a very light wind. Bumpers on sides work great to protect walls inside. Battery life is very short. Basically fun

Great for starters in the drone space.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this for my daughter (10) and she loves it. I put my older iphone 7 in the phone clip and she's got her "eyes in the sky" now. The kit does come with two spare blades so you aren't stuck waiting for replacements if you break them early. The battery is very small so you only get about 7 minutes of flight time. I would advise purchasing at least one extra battery so you can swap them out and have a little more fun. The biggest issue I have with this one is that the trimming takes some getting used to. Trimming is when you configure the drone to stay still when it starts up. I've had to trim it several times, but I think that's because the blades got bent from smacking into walls and such when she was first learning to fly it.

Awesome drone!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the second Protocol drone we have purchased over the years. This model is an update for us and we were greatly impressed with its improved functions. It is easy to fly and maneuver. One nice thing compared to the older model is that you can restart the drone without being near it. So when we crashed onto the roof we didnt have to get a ladder to reset it or anything, we were able to stay on the ground and reset eith the controller and begin flying again! Such a nice drone for the money! Ibwould recommend going on Amazon and purchasing extra batteries because the battery doesn't last more than 10-15 minutes.

Q: QuestionI can not get the video working how come
Asked by chet.
- A:Answer Once the drone is turned on and synced to the controller (to sync it turn both the controller and drone on and flick the left analog stick up a couple of times so the light is no longer flashing) connect it to the slipstream WiFi signal by actually connecting to the separate WiFi on your phone then open the slipstream drone app, and your ready to fly!

Q: QuestionIs there a way to extend battery function?
Asked by Anani.
- A:Answer I haven’t found a way to personally extend the battery life but I did purchase 3 extra batteries that way my son could have more fun with it for longer then 15-20 minutes. With extra batteries we can use it for about an hour or so.
