Yes it is it just replaces the charging cable if you lose the one you have or if yours doesn't work anymore!

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.That is a good question. Apparently the manufacturer makes more money by using different charging cables for different models. This was also confusing to me. The way the item is packaged makes it difficult to see that the "male" connection is different in the Charge HR. I ended up having the return the "wrong" cable and purchased the "right" cable from another retailer.
