“Can I hook up the speakers without the blu-ray player? Meaning, I already have a Samsung 3D Smart Blu-ray player and don't need the one that came in the box. So with that said, can I hook the speakers into the player I already have??”

• You could, but would be better off returning this system and getting some stand alone speakers for your system.

• Not unless you hardwire them to your old box. They have special connectors on the end that plug into the sony box. If you put out the money for this you mine as well just use the sony player. Its all very nice and does the same things as the samsung.
