• Yes, or add an M.2 SSD for a large speed boost as well.

• this laptop does NOT have a m.2 slot.... You can swap the HDD for a SATA 2.5" 7mm (with 9.5mm adapter) Internal SSD. I don't know who answered previously but they are wrong.
