“I recently purchased more than one computer on Saturday and on Sunday when I checked the internet it was on sale for $50 cheaper but I was told that I could not get the price for both computers purchased just one item. Is this correct?”

I'd talk to a manager about granting the discount on both computers. They will price match from Best Buy and some other stores, but i believe it has to be within wither 14 or 30 days of time of purchase.
