• Memory (RAM) is used by programs as they execute or perform tasks. Hard Drive space is used to store files or photos that may not be used by a program at a given time. The more RAM you have the more programs you can have open at a time while the more HDD space you have, the more files you can store on your computer. RAM is much faster than HDD memory and more expensive. 1TB of HDD space is sufficient for most PC users. Get the most RAM that you can afford or are willing to spend.
