• Hi there. Thanks for your great question! The Geek Squad Protection for a gaming headset is going to cover manufacturer defects or failures and more recently now - accidental damage! For example, the unit could be returned for something like a frayed cord, no audio out of one side, broken headband, etc. I hope this helps and makes sense.
