Q: QuestionHi, Geek squad protection plan is on the product. I had bought it as a gift for my sister. If everything is under my name and if there is a breakdown . Will it be still replaced in my absence or i am needed.

- A:Answer In our situation, we took our broken toaster oven one week before the 2 year warranty expired to BestBuy. The Geek Squad representative told us to pick something similar from the store because they didn't have the exact item in stock. We ended up paying like 25 dollars more for the item that we chose because it was more expensive than our original toaster oven( of course we could of chosen something cheaper). Geek Squad customer service was amazing and we left the store with a brand new toaster oven.
