Probably 5 - 10 minutes to first batch, depending on air temp and then another batch every 5 minutes or so. Makes 9 cubes per cycle.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The size of the first batch in a single cycle is one cup and that takes roughly 5-7 mins. I know at first you expect a lot, but in the long run, you'll have so much you don't know what to do with.

It will drop 9 cubes every 4-6 minutes and will continue until the bin is full. if you knock them down to level it will make another batch or 2 and then hold it until it melts down and drops below the fill line. I bought this about 3 weeks ago because we were having company over Memorial Day and I kept it running the entire weekend and we never ran out of ice. I added water maybe 2 times. I seen it for the first time at my uncles memorial service and was amazed with it, I decided right them I would buy one as soon as I made it back home. I am not disappointed at all with it and I use it daily.

It makes I think about 9 or 11 cubes / cycle. I work with about 25 people in a warm environment and we go through the ice. This unit more than keeps up with us. We have to turn it off a few times each day. We love it.
