A:AnswerWe bought the trim kit for GE PEM21SF. You have to make sure the trim kit matches your model. The previous owner seemed to make a home made trim kit using SS grills. Cheaper models did not fit into the hole in the cabinet. Whichever trim you buy, take great care while mounting since the front face will probably be plastic with a SS finish. With plastic you have one chance to mount it properly. If you botch the mount, you will have to buy a new kit, so it won't look bad.
A:AnswerYes... you attach the 2 included "legs/slides" to the microwave with provided screws and then the legs/slides slide in while attached to the microwave and lock the microwave down nicely to the base. Of course you 1st screw the base pan to your inner cabinet, once you are satisfied with its centerdness within the opening of your cabinet. A few people complained about the opening left between the microwave face and the provided face plate of this kit, but I found the very small opening acceptable and the finished installation looks really nice. We selected the stainless steel style finish.
A:AnswerHi Anita, i dont remember exact model number for trim kit. it did not work with trim kit i purchased. luckily my old wirlpool trim kit worked for me. i would recommend you to double check with best buy agent on trim kit.
