QuestionI was wondering what size of camera does it fit becuase i have a 4k camera that has a standard 1/4 inch screw slot. will it fit pretty sure same as goPro but not sure

- Answer It'll fit. This stabilizer doesn't screw into the go pro. Two screws connected to a small bracket clamp down on the camera. So, as long as your camera isn't taller than the go pro, it should fit. No telling though if it will function the same, weight, length, and camera depth will play a significant role, because the motor can only accommodate a small amount of weight.

QuestionI Just received my new Skylab 3-axis gimbal, there were no instructions in the box, I had to go to U-tube to find out how to operate it, those guys had instructions! Is there somewhere online I can download these instructions??

- Answer Yes, Skylabs website. Same thing happened to me. It's a packaging issue. The instructions slide right out of the box because they are just laid on top of the product.

QuestionIf using with a Hero 4 Silver, does motor noise get picked up through the video? I heard some GoPro models pick up a lot of noise from the motors because of where the mics are mounted.

- Answer I haven't had any issues with noise. Make sure if you get the Gimbal you read the instructions. Do not turn on the gimbal unless you have a camera on it. That can damage the motor and allow for noise. I have not had any issues at all with noise.

- Answer I bought an aluminium case from Harbor Freight and put the foam insert that was in the SkyLab box in it. The fit was good and the rest of the space in the case is used to put all all my camera accessories. If you want something smaller, the box it came in worked well for me for a long time.

QuestionI am sure I am missing something stupid but I just bought this and the batteries that come with it won't fit. Driving me nuts. What am I doing wrong? I need the batteries to go in about another 1/2 inch so I can screw on the bottom seal.

- Answer I have the same problem. The batteries stuck too far out. I unscrewed the bottom part of the battery case, all the parts for it were loose and just popped right out. When I tried to put it back together (no diagram or instructions - thanks!), there is a thickish rubber seal that doesn't seem to fit to anything - the configurations I tried with it all leave the batteries sticking out too far. I left it out, got the gimbal to work, but it didn't solve the issue of the bottom pieces popping out and the spring taking off again. I've almost lost that spring several times.

QuestionCan you charge your GoPro via USB while it being mounted on the gimbal? Is there a USB port on the gimbal that you can use to charge with an external battery if it runs out of battery? And are the batteries proprietary?

- Answer yes you can. There should be a short cable that was included to do so.

- Answer As I understand it, this gimbal is designed for the Hero 4 Silver and Hero 4 Black WITHOUT the add on touch screen. It will not work with the Hero 5.

QuestionThe piece that comes off to insert the batteries, it comes apart, almost lost the spring and other pieces a couple of times already. It seems only friction keeps it together, nothing locks it into place. is this normal? design defect? broken?
