I have the same problem. The batteries stuck too far out. I unscrewed the bottom part of the battery case, all the parts for it were loose and just popped right out. When I tried to put it back together (no diagram or instructions - thanks!), there is a thickish rubber seal that doesn't seem to fit to anything - the configurations I tried with it all leave the batteries sticking out too far. I left it out, got the gimbal to work, but it didn't solve the issue of the bottom pieces popping out and the spring taking off again. I've almost lost that spring several times.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I am having the same issue with mine. The batteries are sticking out and not allowing the bottom cap to be screwed on, a spring also flew out as soon as it was opened.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Have you tried them the other way round?
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Make sure there is not an item lodged in the handle cavity. The two batteries should fit in the handle easily with room to screw in the cap. I just tested it before I wrote you and I did not have an issue.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. My battery length is just less than 1 3/4". Are you placing them in positive side first? I don't seem that have any trouble whatsoever. Make sure to look inside the tube and make sure there are no obstructions inside which is not allowing the battery to properly sit.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Are you trying to put in AA batteries? Are you trying to put in more than two of the batteries that came with it? If you are using the correct batteries and installing only two there must be something jammed up inside the tube blocking your way with the batteries, take a look.
