QuestionI bought a 55” LG tv in aug 22,2016 I bought the 2 yr ext warrenty with it. Today I tried to turn it on and it won’t. I unplugged it and tried it from the on off switch on the tv. The red light blinks but it won’t turn on. Is still covered Thanks

- Answer Yes I’m pretty sure it would cover that as long as they don’t determine it was misused ,dropped & tv was used in normal conditions & environment..sounds like a manufacture defect.. I would also call the geek squad hotline & ask them too,. since you already need to call them to set up a appt for repair but do it quick since you are already in the 2nd year of extended Warrenty . Good luck

QuestionMy warranty is 5 yr standard $25 on insignia tv. We moved it & thought feet were on chest it slipped fell & screen is now cracked otherwise seems to work. Does this warranty cover the cracked screen. It’s only a few months old.

- Answer Yes. From what I understand the Geek Squad Protection covers your TV from when you take delivery so warranty isn't the reason you need to register with Samsung. Register your TV to receive any updates or fixes that might become available from the manufacturer.

QuestionWe purchased a 2 year protection plan from you. I read that power surge protection is in included in the plan. However do we need an external power surge protector for the tv as well? I have a desk top computer along with Comcast boxers, DVR and sound bar

- Answer It may, but you can usually access the sale from your My Best Buy account that you made to make your purchase. If you have the receipt for purchase, a Best Buy store can also print you our the information. Service plans are attached to the serial numbers of the TVs as well, so I would contact your local Best Buy Geek Squad and they will help you out!

QuestionThe warranty says it covers large TV in your home. I cannot find the def of what is consider large. I bought a 49 inch. The salesperson said it would be covered but probably would have said anything to get the additional ring.
