QuestionHow long are the speaker wires, and if not long enough, can I purchase longer wires for them?I want to have the speakers in two different rooms and want to make sure they will extend far enough away.

- Answer The wires weren't long enough for me, so I spliced them and they worked fine. Just make sure you get an appropriate gauge wire.

QuestionHow to listen to surround sound when using smart tv options (on tv) without time warner cable box?Why does the surround sound not work when using smart tv options on tv without Time warner Cable?? I have no sound. I've been told to connect n "optical cable" from tv to surround sound unit.....but I do not see a optical connect. How am i supposed to connect all these components together??

- Answer Hello, thank you for your message. In regards to your question, both units have to meet some requirements. Depending on how you have your system connected, you may need to use an additional audio cable to send the sound from the TV to the home theater system speakers. If you have the HDMI OUT port of the home theater system connected to the HDMI IN port of the television, you need to connect an audio cable from the television back to the home theater system to get the sound to the home theater speakers.
