Yes unfortunately it does, when you pick the output option it only allows one or the other

Please try again later.In the TV settings you have the option to set the TV speakers to on, which means the TV speakers will always be on, regardless of having headphones connected. You can also set the TV speakers to off, or auto, which does mute when headphones are connected.
