Q: Why does the picture blackout and the sound continues?

A: When the screen goes blank, try to bring up the TV menu. If the menu shows fine then the TV is operating fine and the issue is with the signal. If the menu does not show, try unplugging the power from the TV for at least a minute. If the issue persists, please bring the TV and receipt into Best Buy, to the Geek Squad for warranty evaluation.

A: It will if your computer has an HDMI connection. Now, I tried it, it works, but the quality of the picture is really really bad. That'ts why I am returning it.

A: Yes, this model of TV has both analog and digital tuners.

Q: Does this TV upscale to 1080p like the other Insignia at the same price point?

A: Both of those models or TV are only capable of displaying up to 720 resolution. The hardware on the TV will not allow it to display anything higher. Also the resolution displayed is completely reliant on what resolution signal the TV receives.
