Q: Are 35 inch TVs available and if not, why not?

A: No and they haven't been for several years. The closest offering in a flat screen was a 37 inch. I suppose you could track down a good used one. Reasons? Mainly 35 (and similarly 36) inch TV's were popular for tubes. Move forward to flat screen TV's and widescreen perspective shifted the appearance of screen sizes and so many screen sizes were quickly made obsolete. For example, grab a 32 inch flat screen, bet if you put it next to an old 25 inch tube TV it'd somehow look similarly sized, I've actually done so before. Meanwhile those who had a 32 inch TV when tubes were the norm found that a 40-43 inch flat screen was most desirable. Kinda gives a reference chart of maybe what size flat screen TV you should look for.

  • Rated 5 out of 5 stars

    Small but mighty

I bought this for my bathroom and it is so light yet so well made. The color is vibrant and the sound is really good (I have sound bars with all of my other Sony TVs). The on screen options are easy to understand (especially compared to Samsung) so I'm glad I went with another Sony.
