A:AnswerUnless you can get WIFI or a hard line internet connection, no there is no alternatives. If you get cell phone reception, you can always make your phone your hot spot, but this will eat up your data usage very quickly and it's very expensive. One other alternative comes to mind................ satellite TV/internet.
A:AnswerI also have an Amazon stick and like it. I like the roku better since I can link it to google movies, which I can't do with the Amazon stick. It's also a bit slower navigating than the tv with built in roku.
