No! The Apple TV+ app is definitely not available to this particular Insignia Roku TV. Trust me, I have diligently researched this. The Roku model within the TV is not one that Apple TV has chosen to allow the app to be downloaded to. The Roku and Apple TV websites have lists of the Roku models which work. A go-around is supposed to be to plug in a Firestick or similar device and download the app to that and pull it up that way. It's supposed to circumvent the Roku system, but I haven't tried it yet.

I have not tried, but has a bunch of ways to watch movies over the internet

You can but it already has roku installed which is almost like an Apple TV device so it won't be necessary
