• Hi Lisa. Thanks for the questions! It sounds like you're referencing a smart door lock. You don't have to have a monthly service plan. Generally that plan will allow you to have increased security features around recording and storing what the camera sees, for example. You shouldn't have to have two different pin pads for it. Depending on the smart lock you chose, you should be able to unlock this with your phone or potentially Siri, Alexa, Google, etc. I hope this helps out!
