“What is the speaker like on this TV”

• For a spare bedroom TV the speakers project surprisingly well. If you are using this in a room with the dimensions that exceed 12x12, I would recommend hooking up to a surround system with a center channel or at least a sound bar

• surprisingly the speakers are not bad at all. I do have to get the volumn control somewhere in the 70's (it goes from 0 to 100) to have what I would consider an average listening level. The quality of the sound is not something to either rant or rave about. It' can get loud enough and the quality of the sound is adequate. As a word of advice, I also purchased an Insignia sound bar the same time I bought this tv and that is a measureable improvement in the quality of the sound. It makes watching the tv a much more enjoyable experience.
